Humans get high cholesterol and atherosclerosis plaques in their arteries, but do dogs, cats, bunny rabbits, or other pets get plaques also?

Humans get high cholesterol when they consume too many of the wrong types of foods. Wild animals do not usually get cholesterol deposits because it is difficult for them to eat the wrong types of foods, however, animals that are fed a diet similar to the average American diet will develop cholesterol deposits.
