I feel shortness of breath, especially at night. In the morning it’s fine. I am having mild MVP with mild regurgitation. Is the SOB is related to that?
It is unlikely that your shortness of breath is related to your mitral valve disease. Given that it occurs when you lay down at night, it may be related to reflux disease. Make sure that you don’t eat too close to bedtime and try to note if some foods or beverages can trigger your symptoms.
